This workshop is designed to give students an overview of the world of work and prepare them for a work experience placement. In short, it is a combination of all ten workshops in a one day session!

Students will start the day looking at jobs in society and how they are changing. They will then go on to learn how they can prepare themselves for work in the future, including developing employability skills, transferable skills, applying for jobs and preparing for interview. The Big Academy will help students to set personal and career targets and set out an action plan for their journey into work.
